Doctor suspects five-year-old girl had been sexually abused

A case has been reported to the police after doctors suspected a five-year-old girl who went for a consultation, had been sexually abused.

An official of Hulhumalé Hospital told Sun Online that the girl was taken to the doctor last week after she fell from her bed and hurt herself.

The doctor, however, said in the medical report that she had also been sexually abused, the official said.
