Minister of Home Affairs Umar Naseer has been appointed as Acting Minister of Housing and Infrastructure.
This has been confirmed to Sun Online by Spokesperson for the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali, who said that this appointment follows the departure of Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr Mohamed Muizzu abroad on a private visit.
Earlier this week, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb was appointed as Acting Minister of Defence, and Minster of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem was appointed as Acting Minister of Health.
This followed Minister of Defence Mohamed Nazim, who was also Acting Minister of Health, going abroad on a private visit.
