Visham appointed Assistant Attorney General

President Abdulla Yameen has appointed lawyer Ismail Visham to the post of Assistant Attorney General.

An official of the Attorney General’s Office told Sun Online that this appointment was confirmed yesterday.

Until now, Visham worked at former Attorney General Husnu Al Suood’s law firm, Suood Anwar & Co. He represented Malaysia’s Nexbiz Limited in the recent high-profile case regarding the instalment of a border control system in Maldives.

Visham is also the General Secretary of New Radiant Sports Club.
