Salim-Sulaiman to perform at Tourist Arrival Countdown show

Indian artists Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant have arrived in the Maldives to perform at the Tourist Arrival Countdown and New Year show in Male’ tonight.

The pair was greeted upon arrival by Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb.

Adeeb tweeted earlier today, “Welcome to Maldives Salim Sulaiman and the band to perform in the Maldives Tourist Arrival Count Down Show.”

Jamaican artist Sean Paul, who was initially scheduled to perform at tonight’s show, cancelled his appearance yesterday citing safety reasons.

Several other foreign artists besides Salim-Sulaiman, have also arrived in the Maldives for tonight’s show.
