Maldivian Airline has brought a new seaplane to Maldives.
Giving information to Sun Online, Ali Nashaath, Head of Administration of the National Airline, Maldivian said on Monday evening that the new seaplane, which has the capacity of 16 passengers has been brought to Maldives on Monday and that airlifts would be started within ten days after fixing floats.
According to Nashaath, the newly brought seaplane will travel to Haa Alifu, Baa, Dhaalu and Thaa atoll.
National Airline has started seaplane service in October 2013.
“Blackstone Group” of New York has merged the two companies, which operated seaplanes; Maldivian Air Taxi (MAT) and Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA), after buying the majority shares of the two companies.
