The family of missing journalist of Minivan News Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla has said that family members got online from his social network accounts.
Rumors have been spread last week, saying that Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla has got online from his Face Book (FB) and Viber accounts. However, Minivan News has said that they were not clear of how it happened.
“We got online from Rilwan’s social accounts by using his phone number to check if we see any evidence regarding him being missing” said Rilwan’s family.
Family said that they tried to access Rilwan’s internet accounts from his phone number after buying the number from Ooredoo when it brought to the market due to cancellation of the number for not being used.
Rilwan has been missing for over 100 days. He is believed to have gone missing in the middle of the night near his residence in Hulhumale’.
