Sean Paul to perform in Maldives

Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb has announced that Grammy Award winner Sean Paul is set to perform in the Maldives in December.

Adeeb told Sun Online that Sean Paul has accepted the invitation and confirmed that he would visit Maldives, and perform to promote tourism.

Adeeb said that the show would be funded by sponsors, which have been confirmed, and that the government would not spend on this event.

He added that the show would be held at a prominent venue in Male’ and entrance would be free.

Sean Paul is a Jamaican dancehall rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer. He won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album (Dutty Rock) in 2004.
