A youth attacked with sharp object last night

Last night a youth was attacked with a sharp object.

A media official of Maldives Police Services said that the youth was attacked around 11pm while he was walking, and he has got injured. Maldives Police Services did not give any more detail. The official further said that they are investigating the case.

An official from Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) said that the injured youth is under treatment in IGMH. The official also said that the family of the victim does not want to disclose any of his personal information.

This is the first case of this kind after a halt of a month to the series of gang attacks this year.
