Detention extended for fourth time, for suspect arrested over Rilwan

10 days’ extension has been issued for the suspect arrested over disappearance of Minivan News journalist Rilwan Abdulla.

Police Media Official said to Sun Online that Criminal Court has extended detention of the only person under police custody regarding the disappearance journalist of Minivan News, Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla by 10 days. Detention of the 25-year-old man remained under police custody, was extended last on 15 October 2014.

Though four people were arrested regarding disappearance of Minivan News journalist Rilwan Abdulla, three people have been released by the Criminal Court.

Rilwan went missing 78 days ago, on 8 August 2014.
