Tourism Minister: Opposition leader inciting violence in the country

Minister of Tourism and Vice President of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) Ahmed Adeeb has said that the leader of opposition party is trying to incite violation in the country.

Speaking in the event held on the occasion of the only council member of Meemu Kolhufushi belonging to Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) joining PPM, held at President Yameen’s Campaign Office today, Tourism Minister said that government was putting a lot of effort to make the country steady and economically stable.

However, Tourism Minister Adeeb mentioned that the behaviour of opposition parties was disappointing.

Adeeb said that as PPM was the current ruling party, government was implementing the policies required for economic stability. In that regard, Minster highlighted that dollar rate has been reduced and fuel charge also has been reduced today.

Minister Adeeb said that PPM was ready to work on strengthening economy of Maldives and make the country stable.
