Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of External Affairs pays a courtesy call

Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of External Affairs Mr. Neomal Perera has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr. Mohamed Waheed yesterday.

Vice President addressed the issues of national security, reconciliation and the promotion of unity and prosperity in Sri Lanka, in the meeting held at the President’s Office. Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera expressed the Sri Lankan government’s gratitude for the Maldivian government’s continued support.

Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of External Affairs also met with the president and both discussed ways to promote trade collaboration between both countries, especially exploring ways to increase cooperation in fisheries.
