FENAKA Corporation has been assigned the project to repair and maintain the sewerage facilities in Noonu Miladhoo.
Minister of State for Environment Abdul Matheen and Managing Director of FENAKA Corporation Mohamed Nimal signed the agreement at an event held at Environment Ministry on Thursday afternoon.
Providing information to the media, state minister Matheen said that government has spent MVR 23 million to establish sewerage system in Miladhoo, however, the system requires some restoration because it has not been used for very long. Matheen noted that FENAKA would repair and maintain this sewerage system according to the agreement.
FENAKA Managing Director Nimal said that it would be very easy to work in Miladhoo with this project, because they are working at Miladhoo with the electricity even now. He also noted that they would start sewerage system work very soon.
