Missing person found dead, hanged in the woods

A person missing from Haa Alifu Hoarafushi since this morning has been found dead, hanged in the island’s woods.

Sun has been informed that the man found hanged was Ahmed Muaz, 27.

Media official of the Maldives Police Service told Sun that the family reported him missing at around 12:40 p.m., and they discovered his body at around 2:30 p.m.

His body has been taken to the island hospital.
