Father arrested over sexual abuse of daughter

A father has been arrested in an island in Gaafu-Dhaalu Atoll, on suspicion of sexual abuse of his 14-year-old daughter.

The police said that the man is aged 39.

Sources have told Sun Online that the case was reported to the police on Tuesday by the girl’s mother, who came to know about the abuse last year.
