Luthfy elected President, Muavviz Vice President of ACC

Hassan Luthfy has been elected as the Presdient, and Muavviz Rasheed as the Vice President of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for a second term.

They were elected to these posts unanimously by all members present at the first meeting held after members were appointed to the ACC by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, at a ceremony at the President’s Office earlier today.

The three remaining members of the five-member commission are Aminath Minna, Yazmeed Mohamed, and Safwath Mohamed.

This is the second term of the ACC, since it was established in 2008.
