Fifteen-year-old injured in accident in Hulhumale

A fifteen-year-old has been injured in a dangerous accident in Hulhumale’.

Police said that the accident took place at around 7:00 a.m. today, when a speeding motorcycle crashed into another motorcycle.

The 15-year-old, who sustained a serious head injury, was on the backseat of one of the motorcycles. He has undergone treatment at Hulhumale’ Hospital, and been transferred to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Police said that efforts are ongoing to find the speeding motorcycle, which fled the scene.
