Muna appointed as Member of Employment Tribunal

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Mariyam Muna a Member of the Employment Tribunal.

The letter of appointment was presented to Muna by President Yameen at a ceremony at the President’s Office this afternoon.

Before the presentation of the letter of appointment, Muna took the oath of membership of Employment Tribunal, which was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.

Four individuals were also appointed the Employment Tribunal in January. They are Idhrees Ismail, Abdulla Ali, Maryam Shamma Ibrahim, and Areef Ahmed Naseer.

The posts of President and Vice President of the Employment Tribunal are held by Idhrees Ismail and Abdulla Ali respectively.
