Man falls to death from Hulhumale' building

A Bangladeshi worker died today after falling from the third storey of a guest house under construction in Hulhumale'.

The incident happened around 10:00 a.m. The man died while being treated in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) from fatal injuries to the head. He had also suffered a broken wrist and femur, said the police media official.

The worker lost his footing and fell while trying to lower construction planks from the top terrace of the building.
