Provision of equipment to youth centres will be completed within one month: Youth Minister

Minister of Youth and Sports Mohamed Maleeh Jamal has said that all necessary equipment will be supplied to youth centres within about one month.

The minister made this remark while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Galolhu Youth Centre in Male’ on Thursday evening.

He added that 28 youth centres have been established across the country, and 34 projects are ongoing to establish sports arenas.

Maleeh said that the government will not allow any group to obstruct the efforts towards youth development.

He also thanked Maldives Police Service and Ministry of Home Affairs for their support in the efforts to establish youth centres.
