Organisers urge participants to dress in black and white for march against Israel

Organisers have urged everyone joining the protest against Israel’s attacks on Palestine, scheduled for Tuesday night in Male’, to dress in black and white.

Hamna Waheed, a senior member of the group organising the march, said this during a press conference at Male’ City Council Office this evening.

She said that preparations are also underway to hold a simultaneous march in several islands in Addu Atoll.

Letters inviting to join the march have been sent to the police, the defence force, the Civil Service Commission, and the Male’ City Council, said Hamna.

The march will commence from Social Centre in Male’ at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
