Car crashes into post in Male

A speeding car sustained heavy damages after crashing to a post in Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Male’.

The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning and no one was hurt, according to police sources.

The car was travelling west on Boduthakurufaanu Magu when it lost control and crashed into a post on the left side of the road and smashed into a parked pick-up truck. Witnesses said that it had rained moments before the accident and that the slippery road caused the car to skid out of control.

Police further said that the car was heavily damaged and that the driver's license has been suspended in relation to the incident.
