Man suffers head injury in accident in Hulhumale

Hulhumale’ Police Station has said that a 22-year-old man has sustained a head wound and other injuries in an accident between a car and a motorcycle near Hulhumale’ ferry terminal.

The motorcycle is damaged beyond use in the accident which took place at around 20:00 on Fithuroanu magu.

The Police said that the driver of the car did not suffer any injury.

A taxi driver in Hulhumale’ told Sun that the man on the motorbike, in addition to sustaining a head wound, had several abrasions on his arms and legs.

He also said that the man is conscious and is being treated at Hulhumale’ Hospital.

Information on the injured man cannot be obtained from Hulhumale’ Hospital yet. However Hulhumale’ Police are investigating the incident.
