Dhiraagu announces Ramadan promotion

Local telecommunications company Dhiraagu has announced promotions with a number of prizes for the holy month of Ramadan.

Mirushan Hassan, Manager Marketing Communications and Public Relations Executive at Dhiraagu revealed during a press conference at the company's head office today that the new ‘Dhiraagu Bodu Hadhiya’ promotion will include a weekly prize, along with a final prize awarded at the end of Ramadan.

“A weekly winner from Dhiraagu Post Paid customers selected through drawing lots during Ramadan will receive a Yamaha motorcycle. A customer chosen through lots amongst all Dhiraagu customers will win everything necessary to furnish a three-bedroom apartment, the Ramadan prize. This will also include furniture and refrigerators,” said Mirshan.

He also said that Dhiraagu customers will automatically enter the draw for the relevant category and that winners of the Yamaha motorcycle will have four models to choose from.

Imjad Jaleel, Senior Marketing Communications and Public Relations Executive said at the press conference today that Dhiraagu Prepaid customers will also be entitled to free calls on Fridays for spending up to MVR 75 during the week. Customers are required to send “FF” to 343 to participate in the promotion, Imjad said.

Dhiraagu customers can call Saudi Arabia for MVR 1.89 per minute and the company also offers a free-of-charge SMS reminder of prayer times during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dhiraagu allows customers to pay Zakat al-Fitr through their #123* mobile phone menu and has recently started a new promotion of 150 MB of data to ever new Prepaid number purchased.
