Power outages will not be experienced in any island during Ramadan: Fenaka Corporation

Fenaka Corporation, which provides electricity to several islands, has assured that power outages will not be experienced in any island during Ramadan.

Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation Mohamed Nimal made this remark during a function at Kalaafaanu School on the occasion of the corporation’s second anniversary, on Thursday night.

“We are confident that during Ramadan, there will not be any power outages in any island due to technical faults or capacity issues,” said Nimal.

He said that Fenaka Corporation has made great achievements over the past two years, but noted with dismay that several projects are delayed due to refusal by some groups to cooperate with the corporation.

Certificates were also presented to some members of staff at the function, in recognition of their services to Fenaka Corporation.
