Housing Minister to appear for parliament questioning on Tuesday

Parliament is scheduled question Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr Mohamed Muizzu during the sitting on Tuesday.

The summons was requested by Addu City Meedhoo MP Rozaina Adam of the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), to qustion the Housing Minister regarding the infrastructure projects planned for Addu City in 2014.

The last cabinet minister to be summoned to parliament was former Health Minister Dr Aminath Jameel in 2011. Parliament standing orders requires the parliament to allow the minister 14 days prior to his appearance for questioning.
