Vice President visits Kudakudhinge Hiya, Vilimale

Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has visited Kudakudhinge Hiya (children’s shelter) and Vilimale’ Health Centre in Vilimale’.

At the Health Centre, Dr Jameel visited several patients and also sought information from officials regarding the efforts to upgrade the building from a health centre to a hospital.

During his visit to Kudakudhinge Hiya, he met with the children living there and inquired about their condition. He also met with several members of the staff of the shelter.

The Vice President was accompanied in these visits by Minister of Health and Gender Dr Mariyam Shakeela and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) Dr Mohamed Habeeb.
