Police investigate embezzlement of MVR 15 million from Medianet

Police have initiated an investigation into the theft of $975,000 (MVR 15 million) from Medianet Private Limited by one of its employees.

Police said that no one had been arrested in relation to this case yet, and it was not possible to provide details at this stage.

Medianet was not available for a comment at the time of press.
