Parliament to hold second session on Monday

The newly sworn-in 18th Maldives parliament will hold its first sitting of the second session on Monday, 2 June, parliament secretariat has said.

A source from the parliament secretariat told Sun Online today that the sitting has been scheduled and that its agenda will be announced on Sunday.

The newly elected parliament took oath and elected Fuvahmulah-south MP Abdulla Maseeh Mohamed as Speaker of the Parliament and Hulhu-henveyru MP Moosa Manik as Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, during its first sitting of its first session on Wednesday.
