Goods worth over MVR 1 million stolen from shop in Male

Electronic items worth over MVR 1 million have been stolen from a shop in Male’.

Police said that the theft from Baazaaru Abuja was reported at 9:15 a.m. today.

The thieves broke into the shop by removing parts of the roof, said police.

Police have urged anyone who has information on phones, tablets and other electronic items being sold at unusual prices to contact the police as soon as possible.
