Government signs agreement regarding development of hospital in Vilimale

The government has signed an agreement with MS Carpentry and Construction Private Limited, regarding the development of Vilimale’ Health Centre as a 15-bed hospital.

The duration of the project, worth MVR 5.4 million, is 115 days.

Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Gender told Sun Online that the hospital would have two consultation rooms, an operation theatre, an improved emergency service area, a laboratory, and a labour room with a capacity of three patients.

He said that following this project, specialist doctors will also be available for consultation at the hospital.
