Passengers arrested from Banyan Tree ferryboat released

Passengers arrested from a Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru ferryboat on Tuesday evening have been released.

All passengers on-board the ferryboat were arrested by the police soon after it tied up at the capital Male’.

Police media official said the passengers were arrested following a report of a theft at the resort and that the staff and boat were released today after a thorough search.
