Home Minister Jameel appointed as President of Local Government Authority

President’s member to Local Government Authority (LGA) Home Minister Dr Mohamed Jameel has been elected as President of the Authority.

Dr Jameel was elected with the vote of six members at LGA’s 31st meeting held today.

The secret vote for President of LGA was cast according to Article 63 of Decentralization Act governing administrative constituencies of the Maldives.
