Criminal Court has tabled a hearing against Minister of Home Affairs Umar Naseer for Sunday, 27 April.
Sun is aware that the Home Minister has been charged with disobeying police orders.
The charges were brought against the Umar Naseer for calling on protesters to “move the protesters to take action, pick 2000 volunteers and use a ladder to climb over a wall that I instruct,” during a protest against former president Mohamed Nasheed’s government in January 2012.
If found guilty, the Home Minister could face up to six months in prison.
