All 18 women arrested in Anbaraa on Friday night on suspicion of using drugs have been transferred to house arrest.
Police said that they were transferred tonight.
Criminal Court has given detention of 10 days for all suspects involved in this case, except for a girl below the age of 18 who was placed under house arrest.
Police arrested a total of 79 people in Anbaraa. The remaining 59 people, all men, are still detained by police.
Police said that 198 people were searched, and only people who had drugs in their possession or in the things they were carrying were arrested. The remaining 119 people were released on the spot.
Police said that all suspects had tested positive for drugs, and large amounts of drugs and money were seized from the scene.
Items found at the scene include numerous pieces of cellophane and packets containing suspected illicit narcotics, pills believed to be illicit narcotics, stickers suspected to be LSD, cans and bottles containing suspected alcohol, and bullet sized packets and film roll cans containing substances believed to be cannabis.
