Drug Court to have new chief judge every six months

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided that Drug Court will have a new chief judge every six months, until a permanent chief judge can be appointed to the court.

Drug court said that this was decided by JSC on 9 April.

Drug Court today informed JSC that Judge Mohamed Eesa Fulhu has been appointed as its chief judge from 20 April until 20 October 2014.

Judge Mahaz Ali has acted as chief judge of Drug Court since it was formed on 14 March 2012.
