Search launched for small fishing boat

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has started searching for a small boat carrying two people, which has gone missing after it left Vilimale’ for fishing.

MNDF said that the ‘dinghy’ left at around 0030 hrs on 16 April 2014, and the families of the two people on-board had informed that they often go fishing near Gulhi Falhu.

The boat is painted green, red, white and orange.
