Man handed over to Police for attempted forced entry into Ilham

A man has attempted forced entry into G. Night star, the residence of Gemanafushi Parliament Member Ilham Ahmed.

Ilham said that a man knocked on his door at around 21:15 last night and asked, “Are you Ilham?” and attempted to enter the house. Ilham and his wife managed to get him out the door.

“He attempted forcible entry into my house when I opened the door just a bit. My wife and I managed to push him out,” Ilham said.

Ilham immediately notified his bodyguard who was outside, who handed the man over to the Police.

Ilham said that the man who tried to enter his house was a criminal released under ‘second chance’ program, and believes that he was under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.

Police Media Official said that more information will be provided after they look into the matter.
