Man arrested for abusing minor in Feeali

A man has been arrested in Faafu Feeali for sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl.

Police said that the 27-year-old man was arrested yesterday under a court warrant, after the case was reported to Feeali Police Station by the victim.

The case is under investigation by Faafu Nilandhoo Police Station, and the Magistrate Court has given a detention period of 15 days for the suspect.

A 51-year-old man was arrested in the same island on Saturday night, for abusing an 11-year-old boy.
