Individual arrested with counterfeit US Dollar notes

An individual has been arrested in Vilimale’ with counterfeit US Dollar notes.

Police said that the 22-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday near Vilimale’ Ferry Terminal at around 7:50 a.m.

Police found $1,200 counterfeit notes in his wallet.

The case is under investigation by Vilimale’ Police Station and the Commercial Crime Unit of the police.
