Singaporean tourist dies while diving off Dhigurah

A 47-year-old Singaporean tourist died today while scuba-diving from a safari yacht in the Maldives.

The incident was reported to the police around 8:45 a.m. Police said the incident occurred off the western coast of Alif Dhaalu Dhigurah.

Dhigurah medical centre has confirmed the incident. Preparations to transport the body back to the capital Male’ are now underway, said the police.
