Police discover 20 kg drug stash

Police Drug Enforcement Department has discovered a stockpile of more then 20 kgs of drugs.

Details of the operation will be revealed at a press conference this evening, Police said.

A total of 1,697 plastic bags packed with over 1.8 tons of drugs were discovered on the ocean floor in the Maldives in April 2006.
