Former President Mohamed Nasheed has been summoned to the Human Rights Commission of Maldives (HRCM) today.
A message sent by Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) to media says that Nasheed has been summoned to HRCM at 3:00 this afternoon.
While Nasheed has been summoned, HRCM is currently investigating the illegal detention of Chief Judge of Criminal Court Abdulla Mohamed in Girifushi.
Police failed in their attempt to obtain a statement from Nasheed regarding the detention of Judge Abdulla, as Nasheed has refused to cooperate in this matter.

15:11 - Former President Mohamed Nasheed has arrived at HRCM. A Commission Member received him; but Nasheed said that he will only speak with the Commission President.
15:13 - Nasheed says that as the President of HRCM is absent, he wants to talk to his legal team. However Nasheed is currently talking to members of HRCM.
15:16 - People have gathered in the area. Nasheed's legal team and HRCM's legal team are in discussion.
15:18 - Nasheed's supporters in the area remain peacefully. Nasheed and his legal team say that Commission members should have been present when he arrived. Currently Commission member Jeehan and legal team are present. Jeehan says that the members had to leave the country to attend an urgent meeting today.
15:25 - MDP Parliament members and several other MDP members accompanied Nasheed to HRCM today.
15:27 - Discussions continue between Nasheed, his legal team and HRCM. Police have arrived in the area. So far there has not been any violence. However Nasheed's supporters are holding photos of how Police have acted in previous protests.
15:33 - Former President Nasheed told reporters earlier that he was summoned to HRCM probably for the investigation of the detention of Chief Judge of Criminal Court Abdulla Mohamed.
15:40 - Former President Nasheed's legal team is made up of Mariya Didi, Imthiyaz Fahmy, Abdulla Haseen, Hassan Latheef and Hishan Hassan.
15:46 - Members of Former President Nasheed legal team say that Nasheed was summoned for the investigation of the detention of Chief Judge of Criminal Court Abdulla Mohamed. HRCM also asked him if he would like to say anything regarding the day the government changed.
15:47 - Former President Nasheed has left the area and headed home. His supporters remain in the area.
15:49 - Nasheed's supporters have gathered near Criminal Court.
