Three police patrol officers attacked and injured in Male

Three police patrol officers have been attacked and assaulted in Male’ last night.

The first attack was at around 23:30 last night. Police said that two officers, one male and one female, were stopped while they were riding their motorcycle near Nalahiya Hotel, and attacked.

The male officer sustained injuries to the head, while the female officer was assaulted and hit in the chest. Both officers were treated at ADK hospital.

Police said that they are not in serious condition.

The second attack took place at around 1:15 last night, when another police patrol officer was attacked near Nalahiya Hotel. Sun has been informed that the group attacked and even snatched the officer’s wallet. Police said that the officer was treated at IGM Hospital.
