Requirement to attest certificates for job applications removed

Civil Service Commission (CSC) has amended the Civil Service Regulation and removed the requirement to attest certificates when applying for civil service jobs.

In a statement, CSC said, “The requirement to present certificates with stamps to prove they are the same as the originals poses difficulties for job applicants, and is costly when they are required to present several such certificates at once.”

CSC said that from now on, only applicants who are selected for interviews will be required to attest certificates.
