MDP grants Maamigili ticket to Hamdhaan

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has given its ticket for Maamigili constituency to Mohamed Hamdhaan, of Karankaa Villa, Alifu Dhaalu Maamigili, for the upcoming Parliamentary Election.

MDP said that only one candidate showed interest when applications were called for Maamigili Primary, and thus, the ticket was given to him without a Primary.

Hamdhaan has previously contested in MDP’s Maamigili Primary, where he lost with 34 votes against Mahmoodh Idhrees, who received 37 votes.
