Human remains discovered on Hankede beach

Human remains have been discovered half buried on the beach of Hankede, Addu City, near the bridge connecting the island to Maradhoo.

A witness who was present at the area when the remains were discovered told Sun that they were found by a group digging for crabs, around 3:15 p.m. today. The remains were washed up to about 6 feet from the shoreline and buried in about half a feet of sand, the witness said.

Police Media Official confirmed receiving a report of the discovery and said they are working on burring the remains after making the proper records.
