Individual assaulted near Adi Park

An individual has been assaulted with an iron shaft near Adi Park in Male'.

Police Media Official said that the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. tonight and that the individual is now being treated in ADK Hospital.

Sun is aware that the individual received a blow to the head and that the person's condition is reported serious.

Managing Director of ADK Hospital Ahmed Affal told Sun Online that an individual had been brought into the hospital with a head injury, and that he is being attended to by doctors.

Affal said that it will take some time before information can be provided to media.

With tonight’s incident, four assaults have taken place in Male’ over the past week. This includes the stabbing of two individuals and a minor on Monday night, and the stabbing of Feydhoo MP Alhan Fahmy on Saturday night.
