Result sheet retrieved from Ihavandhoo ballot box

The result sheet of Haa Alifu Ihavandhoo Ballot Box 2, which had gone missing, has been retrieved from the ballot box.

The result sheet was found in the envelope carrying the ballot papers.

The ballot box was re-opened at Elections Commission tonight in the presence of candidates’ representatives and monitors.

In addition to the result sheet, the original of the ballot count sheet was also found in the envelope.

After the sheets were removed, the ballot papers were transferred to another envelope and sealed. The old envelope was also sealed in the new envelope.

The ballot box in Thaajuddin School was designated for citizens of Haa Alifu Ihavandhoo, Molhadhoo, and Maarandhoo.

No questions were posed by candidates’ representatives when the floor was opened for questions.
