Ice boxes are banned in Fish Market

Malé city council has banned people selling fishes in ice boxes in the fish market, because of their control over the value of fishes.

Malé city council says that a lot of difficulties are faced by the fishermen and the buyers because of the ice box sellers, and that is the reason why the council has decided to ban selling fishes by the ice box sellers. The council also said that the concerned authorities will confiscate such boxes in future.

Malé city council also has demolished the veranda of the fish market where the ice box sellers sell the fishes, and the council also has built a wall there.
