Thilafushi Corporation MD dismissed

Managing Director of Thilafushi Corporation Limited (TCL) Ilham Idhrees has been dismissed from the post.

Sun is aware that the Privatization and Co-privatization Board decided to dismiss Ilham Idhrees at a meeting of the board yesterday and that the decision has been communicated to the TCL and the President’s Office today.

Privatization Board is expected to reveal the reason for the dismissal sometime today.

Privatization and Co-privatization Board, the oversight body mandated by the State Business Privatization Act to monitor and evaluate privatization and co-privatization of State owned enterprises. The board is assembled by the Pesident.
